Russ Bolt and I are friends and Artists.
We were Driving back form an artfair in Kansas City.
WE started talking and realized that both of our Dad's were named ELMER.
We started the "Sons of ELMER" S. O. E.
If your are a wife of the son of ELMER you are a WOSOE.
If your are a son of the son of ELMER you are a SOSOE.
If your are a daughter of the son of ELMER you are a DOSOE.
If your are a brother of a son of ELMER you are a BOSOE.
It goes on and on for miles.
I am proud to be a Son of ELMER with my true friend Russ Bolt. (Designer of Cadillacs, maker of things.)
We are looking for new members there is only only requirement.
Your Dad had to be named ELMER. Or a relative.
Long live the Sons of Elmer.

Jerry, your story is so delightful. You know that our friendship goes back a loooonnnng way too. Madeline came to my shop to apply to be my apprentice. She was just too good to do what I needed. I have followed your and her careers over the years and am so proud. Now with Russ, he and Sue are very long time friends as well and it was just my encouraging them to join me in this venture to open an art studio up north. They made the move and succeeded too. Full circle now, you and Russ have found a commonality as well. We are made of tough stuff, one has to be tough to make a living as an artist. I am approaching 90 this year and still working too. Sorry, I do not have any Elmer's in my life but you two make up for it.
